U.S. House panel plans hearing on proposed mpg freeze

Heidi King, deputy NHTSA administrator, and Mary Nichols, head of the California Air Resources Board, are likely to testify when two U.S. House subcommittees hold a joint hearing June 20 on the Trump administration’s controversial plan to freeze federal fuel efficiency rules at 2020 levels through 2026.
